Situated within the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre and accessed from the walkway, the Healthy Hub has become an integral part of the community. Since opening in January 2016, the Healthy Hub has helped over 3,000 visitors to access support and advice for a variety of health and wellbeing needs including smoking cessation, sexual health, weight loss, physical activity, mental health, support groups and rehabilitation for many medical conditions including stroke, pulmonary, cancer and cardiac. Access can also be made on to the Exercise referral scheme and use of the anti-gravity treadmill and FES bike, specialist gym equipment at Lifestyles gym. The Healthy Hub provides signposting to support groups in the community or based within the Hub and can provide referral to many of its partners, all under one roof!
